We use Rybbit to understand how this non-commercial site is used. Rybbit runs on our own server at rybbit.noahxyz.net; no visitor data is sent to a third-party analytics provider.

It records the pages you view (address including query parameters, page title), the referring page, screen size, browser language, User-Agent, an approximate location derived from your IP address, clicks on buttons and outbound links, and text you copy from the page (up to 500 characters). To recognise returning visitors, it stores a random visitor ID in your browser's localStorage.

Session replay is enabled: Rybbit also records how you interact with the page (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and page changes) so that visits can be replayed. This site has no input fields, so nothing you type can be recorded.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object at any time: opting out below switches analytics off in this browser and deletes the visitor ID. Your choice is remembered through a disable-rybbit entry in localStorage. You can also object using the contact address in section 1.

Analytics data is kept only as long as it is needed to understand how the site is used, and is deleted after that.

Access logs are processed to ensure operational stability, debug issues, and detect or prevent security incidents such as abuse or denial-of-service attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Access logs are kept only as long as they are needed to operate and secure the service, and are rotated regularly. There is no fixed statutory period; logs are deleted once they no longer serve that purpose.
